Process Barron to Exhibit at the 39th ASSCT Conference

Process Barron helps create a greener power industry with efficient air, gas and materials handling equipment solutions that make solid financial sense.

Biloxi, Mississippi – June 17-19, 2009
Process Barron, an equipment fabrication and services solution provider across various industries including power & biomass, cement and pulp & paper, is excited to exhibit at the 39th annual American Society of Sugar Cane Technologies conference June 17-19 in Biloxi, Mississippi at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino. Process Barron joins some of the largest scientific names in the cane sugar industry during this three-day information exchange.

The annual ASSCT conference is committed to studying the sugar cane industry and is comprised of two branches: agriculturists who are interested in growing the sugar cane, and manufacturers who are interested in processing sucrose from the sugar cane. This annual meeting discusses the trends and challenges facing the cane sugar industry globally today. A portion of the conference is dedicated to the topic of manufacturing using bagasse, the part of the sugar cane that can be burned to provide heat for electricity, as the source of fuel.  “Biomass systems, such as ones that incorporate bagasse, will only become more important as environmental standards rise,” began Cliff Moss, Process Barron’s Product Manager.  “With the passing of time, more and more companies will seek Process Barron, which can highlight years of experience designing and implementing biomass systems, to help fulfill their energy efficiency needs.”
