Combustion Calculator



The Process Equipment Combustion Calculator software is a useful tool for estimating combustion air requirements and flue gas flow rates on fossil fuel fired boilers. This software determines the air flow rate entering the boiler which is the sum of the air from the primary air fans and the F.D. fans. Generally, the power plant operator will have some idea as to the percentage of flow from these fans. The software also determines the flue gas flow rate from the boiler.

An estimate of fan pressure is required to determine fan horsepower. The boiler operators can identify the pressure of the fans since these readings are commonly measured on a regular basis at the control panel. The horsepower values calculated by this software can be compared to actual readings to determine if any energy conservation measures are possible.

Download the executable file to a directory on your hard drive and then run the executable to begin installation of the software.
