Process Barron designs and fabricates Various types of bulk materials handling reclaimers used to recover materials like wood, sludge, biomass, and bark chips from storage and route them into facility processes.
Underpile Drag Chain Reclaimers
Process Barron can design a custom reclaimer solution to fit specific storage space and feed capacity requirements. We can tailor conveyor dimensions and work with existing equipment to reduce project costs. Complete drag chain reclaimer assemblies can be configured with single, dual, triple, and even quadruple drag chains depending on application, and include large HP motor, roller drive train and gear reducer.
Circular Screw Reclaimers
Bulk materials like bark, chips and sawdust are often brought to a storage pile or silo by belt conveyors. Underneath these piles, heavy duty circular screw reclaimers turn to gradually pull the stored material into a chute and drop it on an underground belt conveyor system for further processing and handling. Process Barron's circular screw construction is engineered based on custom pile height and material weight requirements, and are fabricated from abrasion resistant steel. A special abrasion resistant coating protects the barrell from material wear. Circular flights are specially designed to pull the pile down uniformly toward the center chute, and motion sensors monitor proper reclaimer operation. These assemblies include motor, bearing and drive.

Traveling Screw Reclaimers
These lateral track based screw reclaimers feature a core screw with welded sprial flights protected by an abrasion resistant coating of ceramic, tungsten carbide, or chromium carbide.
The technology for the circular and traveling screw reclaimers is offered through a licensee agreement with Raumaster Oy from Rauma, Finland. Raumaster Oy has over 30 years experience with this technology and has hundreds of installations across the world, including the U.S.A. and Canada.
