Live bottom metering and distribution bins are critical to storing, metering, and distributing material (fuel) necessary for the facilities boiler or furnace. Live bottom screw metering bins utilize single or multiple engineered screws to properly distribute fuel for uniform heat distribution of the combustion processes, and better control of boiler emissions.
The metering bins store a designed amount of solid fuel to prevent interruptions of fuel feed from the main storage area to the combustion process area. Fuel is then metered from the bin with variable speed controlled screws. The speed of the individual screws controls the fuel distribution and amount of fuel in the combustion process.
