ProcessBarron’s typical ash conveyor design incorporates a single strand chain made of high strength drop forged CrMn steel. The fly ash conveyor’s forged links are heat treated to a surface hardness of 59/64 HRC to a depth of 0.7mm. ProcessBarron can also provide custom metallurgies and stainless steel conveyors for use in highly corrosive environments.
Additional fly ash drag conveyor design features include abrasion resistant, split hardened sprocket teeth with split hubs for easy replacement and unique shear pin roller chain drive sprockets for overload protection.
